Stir Fry Vegetables with Fried Plaice

A quick & tasty meal using vegetables of your choice, and a nutritious fish which is forgiving of novice chefs.

Range of ingredients
Parboiling the potato to enable it be fried with the less dense vegetables later
Chopped vegetables - note size allows for pairing vegetable & fish on the fork
Battering the fish in egg yolk / flour batter
Battered fish
I like to start frying the onions first to get a nice caramelised flavour
